Default Maternity dress for wedding. Help!

I have a wedding coming up. I'll be 6 months by then. Struggling to find anything!!!

I bought something from Asos maternity and put it on just now to show DH. I actually looked like a strange Oompa loompa dumpy grandma - DH agreed it was not a good look!

I'm after something all black, no splitting me in half (I'm short waisted), covering my arms - somewhere I can try things on would be awesome. I'm near melbourne.

    Any pics, tips welcome!!

I would bypass maternity wear and go for something in a stretchy Jersey knit material. leona edmiston does beautiful dresses, I wore lots of her stuff when pregnant.
There's also a shop on lygon st Brunswick called Sprinkle emporium that does lots of plus size stuff, lots of stunning stretchy wrap dresses and the like.
Metalicus also does lovely stretchy stuff.

Have you tried Ripe Maternity? I bought a beautiful black stretchy long sleeved dress for a wedding and I think I was around 6 months along. I had so many people comment how beautiful the dress was.
