Default First time in Cape Town - March 2015

    Greetings from Canada,
Most Canadians go to the States or Mexico for egg donation but my doctor has had success with Cape Fertility and I am headed there in March (first lining screen March 20).

I started on this chain as I have been searching for more information on travelling to SA alone. I am a 44 year old single mother by choice using donor egg/donor sperm from EDSA.

Any help with my questions would be appreciated.
    1) Someone mentioned a cooking school - that sounds like fun - would you be willing to provide the name?
    2) Someone else mentioned Adriaan as a tour guide - any recommendations would be welcome.
    3) I was planning on going on a safari at Inverdoorn - has anyone been? I was very happy to read about the 2 for 1 at Sanbona, but I need a plus one.
    4) I am staying in Kalk Bay, which in on the train line to the clinic. Any comments or information would be appreciated. I can't seem to view the previous thread on accommodation.

    Thank you for your posts.
Congratulations to Miss Sagi! I'm hoping for the same results

    Hi Canuck....

Exciting times ahead. I just wouldn't be relying on the train to get to appointments. I used it to get around a few times but it is a bit of a walk from the station and I don't know abt frequency as it was only hourly on s Sunday.

That is the kind of information I need. I was debating renting a car, so that's what I will do.

    Thanks again,

    Welcome Canuck!

    We did this cooking school:

Zainie was fabulous and her life stories even more so. We had great day and would highly recommend it.

We also did the overnight safari at Inverdoorn on our first trip. This too we absolutely loved. If you plan to do it I recommend booking the rooms that give you access to the Cheetah Interaction as part of the package - it's a once in a lifetime thing. We treasure the photos we got at this place.

AFM : BT came back and confirmed a BFPšŸ˜šŸ˜œšŸ˜³!!! It feels completely surreal as we have never ever had a BFP or two pink lines. Almost feels like I'm waiting for someone to pop around the corner and say it's all a gag...

HCG was 180 and progesterone was 58.
Going back for repeat bloods on Saturday.
