Default Need help for big dinner!

All you lovely ladies who are great cooks and know how to feed a lot of people.. I need your help!

On Friday we have family and friends and staying with us, there will be 10 mouths to feed.. I can manage to cook for 3 lol but hate that!

I need some recipes of REALLY EASY things I can make. I am the worst cook around but need to feed everyone on Friday night.

We are having a BBQ on Saturday for lunch so I can't just resort to that lol

I need something that is quite simple but feeds a lot of people. Also something that doesn't cost a lot.
There's no dietary requirements to worry about so that's a plus.

    Please! Save me!

Did you want something fancy or family friendly or both!

If it's family friendly what about setting up a taco bar? You put out all the condiments, fillers and do maybe beef and chicken for the meat? You could do a big nachos and Mexican rice or salad and dip to keep the theme going ?

If it's fancier I have a pork rib or a whole salmon fillet recipe and you could do a few sides and salads as well

What about something like pulled pork sliders and asian slaw? I find that an easy, casual and family friendly type meal when there's lots of hungry mouths to feed!

Eta - I used this recipe a few weeks ago, yum!

Cheap and easy not fancy your can't go past a huge pot of pasta or lasagna and simple garden salad.

Roasts are easy but so cheap.

I'm not exactly on a budget but not a lot of money to spend lol
I like the taco bar idea lol no body can complain with that?! Surely lol

It would be very casual and family friendly. DS (who will be 1) is eating too so I have to cater for him

My step mum and step sister are extremely fussy but I don't plan on catering for fussy lol

Tacos are good because you can give everyone a ton of options - have hard and soft tacos, do a beef and a chicken or fish, have guacamole, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, chili, cheese, tomato, beans - and all easy to prepare before everyone gets there!

Your DS can eat all of the above and when my DS was little I used to just put his soft taco under a sandwich press so the cheese melted and it all stayed together and was easier for him to hold and eat!

Thanks! I'll see what DP thinks.
He was mentioning do a couple of lasagnes (my step brother is an absolute pig so I'd need one just for him) so that would become costly..
