Did you get in there to bash some of the old stuff out?

You mentioned you're originally from Canada? How long have you life's here? Do you watch any of the Canadian reno and design shows on lifestyle home? Sarah Richardson, Candice Olson, the property brothers?
    Sorry, just saw this!

Yes, born in Canada and have lived here for about 7.5 years. I haven't watched any Canadian reno shows since I moved, and I was only about 22 when I came here, so I wasn't really interested in that stuff! Funny how home ownership makes you excited about things like paint and tiles 😁

And yes, I had my turn with the sledgehammer! It was very cathartic!

Actually I'm a bit sad I've been excited about that stuff since I was a kid 😜

I picked up the tiles for the bathroom niche this morning 😊

They are a bit dusty, but will look good against the concrete look tiles. We're hopefully tiling the rest of the bathroom this weekend, so fingers crossed we have a functioning bathroom within a week!

Thanks! Those tiles were one of DHs only contributions and I'm quietly surprised they look good, I thought they were awful when he chose them! Haha

Thanks! the tiling should be finished today. The painter was back yesterday and the pavers have been delivered.

Shower screens and robes go in in 2 weeks time. Then we're almost there!

Our bath went in today, I'm so excited! It looks a bit odd wrapped in plastic, but at least it is installed! ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1428831688.190905.jpg
