Me too. To me, all the death penalty is is legalised murder. I feel sick at the way this has panned out, despite the efforts of many for a different outcome. It seems they were determined from the start to get to this end no matter what, and didn't give a stuff what anyone thought of them acting the way they did. :-(

Heartbroken. I don't want to believe it.
And why on earth does Indonesia appear to be making a show out of this? Or is it always like this but we never know because it's not usually Australians?
I'm relieved for the Filipina woman who was given a reprieve.
I never thought id say this, but I think Abbott and Bishop showed compassion and respect this morning. I'm glad there will be some consequences even if I don't fully understand what the impact of withdrawing our ambassador will be.
