I'm home on my own with DS. He's fast asleep and I'm watching Catfish, eating ginger nut biscuits and wishing I'd bought a bottle of sparkling wine to share with myself.

DP liked my card. He'd forgotten that last year we agreed on a card for each other so he hadn't gotten me one. So he hinted at getting one at the shops (he went after breakfast). I saw him whisk something away when he got home, but it's 11:07pm and still haven't seen the alleged 'thing'....so I think he might've forgotten it. Or maybe I was imagining things this morning. Oh well. :/

We went out for the most amazing dinner and cocktails at Lemon & Thyme Mooloolaba which DH organised. We are on holidays and usually never get to eat out so I was really happy) Grandparents were watching DD for the night so we finally had a night to ourselves. After 10 years together it was like we were young again for one night.

On Friday night we had an unexpected toddler free night so I gave DF his presents of a bottle of red, block of chocolate & romantic comedy. We didn't end up watching the movie until Sat morning though because our newborn wouldn't sleep until late! I got a rose & a lunch date yesterday .

This was my romantic night.
DH was in the study booking the rest of his holiday and I was left with my snoozing 'date'.
