Default You don't like the ring?!

@[Mod] Nomsie My DH did he exact same thing and I still have moments where I feel a little sad that I didn't get that proper proposal and we have just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. You'd think I'd be over it by now!!

As for the op, If in time you still don't love it (as in years down the track) maybe you could go down the this ring isn't my style anymore (or something along those lines) and get a different one. Or just 'accidentally' lose it, hehe!

Maybe it *could* be valentines day because he knows you will not be expecting it at all?!

Knowing him would be like the day after or something.. He thinks Valentine's Day is a day for hallmark to make money and he shouldn't have to make me feel loved on one day of the year because society says so...

I highly doubt he would do Valentine's Day because it's cliché.. But who knows!! I'll just have to wait and see!!

No way! That would totally crush his heart.

That's not to say the thought hasn't crossed my mind though.

Haha thank you!! Fingers crossed he doesn't keep me waiting too long!! So I may have got to one of the jewellers in town... Don't know which one he got it from but I think the reason why it's not the one I imagined is a fair bit out of his budget haha

Maybe it's not for you OP! Lol, kidding.

Hmm it's a tough one. What do you think it would look like against a wedding ring? Can you choose a stunning wedding ring to compliment it?

DF proposed with a ring he bought off ebay. It was beautiful and we had no money at the time so it's kind of like a toy ring. No one realised and everyone thought it was real. Haha! We are going to buy a real one later and for now I've moved a different ring to that finger.

I think you'll still be surprised no matter when he does it even though you know he's thinking about it

Haha I'll be heart broken if it's not for me lol 😉

Yeah I honestly couldn't care how much or how little it costs... I guess because when I was living in Adelaide I had seen the exact one for within his budget but that was a few years ago.. And we are currently building a house and trying for a baby so money is a bit tighter..

As for wedding bands to compliment it I honestly can't remember exactly what it looked like so I have no idea!! The initial I'm going to hate it vibe has gone thanks to you ladies!! Now I am just excited at the prospect that it could happen at any moment!!!
