I'm a newbie & chasing as much info as possible as I'm excited already.
We are travelling later in this year for a month & have just signed up to build, so wanting to TTC any time after October.
I have been on the pill for about 15yrs without a break, so do you suggest I stop the pill soon to see what my body does or just wait until when we are ready TTC?

Hi babyg2016, my hubby and I decided to start ttc in Nov 2014 and I was very naive about how long this process may take! Some people get pregnant straight away and others can take up to a year.
One of my friends had been on the pill for 10 years and had read somewhere that it can take 6-12 months being off the pill for everything to come back to normal. Thinking that she was in for a wait she went off her pill and was pregnant the next month! So I really think it just depends on the person! Maybe have a chat to your doctor to see when they think it would be best to stop taking it.
All the best!
