We may joke around about rigging voting or 'creative editing' ... but the truth is it is all based on trust. If we didnt trust the mods not to alter the votes, they shouldnt be mods.

It is MUCH easier with polls though
No, admin can. And thanks to spammers and *grunts* bloody Telstra, I am just a lowly super mod, token admin, admin by name only. *sniff*

I'm curious how Telstra and spammers are to blame. Genuine curiosity and no sarcasm intended.

My new 2015 goal is to write more BHBs than 2013 and 2014 combined. Which would be 3. I think I can do it.
If only dd would go to sleep so I could get on the computer.

I should really say hacker instead of spammer.
A hacker got into modland one morning and put a little virus program on my computer- I was on early in the morning and caught it during the small amount of time it was there. Yay me.
Thanks to that, and to protect the sanctuary of modland, it was decided that to keep admin powers we needed static IP addresses.
Telstra, those wonderful humanitarians, charge extra by the month for the pleasure, so obvs I haven't taken them up on that.

the editor of that rag certainly has a sense of humour. Just as well its not @[Mod] Nomsie who writes it, or that might be a compliment
Oh my gosh! I have tears from laughing so much. DH is sitting next to me with that look on his face like I've lost the plot.

Question: Is vajazzling still part of the dress code?
