    Default Home Made Remedies...

For cracked heels and generally dry feet? I was going to go buy those milky feet slippers but they're bloody expensive and i'm supposed to be budgeting!

So any idea are most welcome!

Give them a good pumice the shower tonight. Slather them in sorbolene cream before you go to bed and put socks on overnight. Repeat as required.

I got DF to buy me one of those feet pamper packs for Christmas. It was just from target and it has all the things required- foot soak, foot scrub, pumice, heel cream, foot cream, bombs etc. It smells lovely and I treat my feet about once a week. Even better if you can get someone to do it for you

There's a brand called "Hero's" and it's like a pumice stone but much more crumbly/airy. It's about the size of a bar of soap and costs under $3 from chemists (in the podiatry section). It's AMAZING! I suffer badly cracked heels and this thing works like magic, it instantly removes the hard, cracked skin; you use it in the shower, I rub it over with soap and also soap up the skin (without soap it can be quite harsh) and give a good scrub until the cracks disappear. I then moisturise and apply some heel balm.

I did that Milky Foot thing, and I didn't think it was that good at all.

I have a Ped-Egg which I think is fab. I do that, then I slather on a good moisturiser, and then slather on my DS's Dermeze, which is kinda like Vaseline. Then pop a pair of socks on and leave overnight.
