Be prepared for people not to talk to you. Not because they are cliquey or rude, but maybe just as unsure as you are and don't know what to expect/do.

Good luck, I hope it goes well.

I would struggle so bad with that many people! lol. I think there was about 5 or 6 mums when I went last week and an older lady who took my daughter and went and played with her so I didn't even have a baby to focus on, so awkward.

Just google supported playgroups and your area. There are a couple around where I live so you might be lucky.

The ones that I see on their own that don't talk are the ones I talk to first😁 I've made a couple of playgroup buddies this way.

ZE let us know how you go. I'm actually excited because 2015 is my year to make more friends I'm putting myself out there this year in every way. Awkward or not 😋

I obviously need to find myself another child for this reason! Haha.

I did have a friend with me but she was having conversations with people and I sat beside her like a stunned mullet. 👍

Glad I went though and I'm going back this week alone.

It went really well, it was the first one of the year, there were a couple of little groups formed and then the newbies. I chatted with a few people. Will definitely be going back; DD enjoyed it!
