    two afternoons in a row looking after grand daughters, so I was on my feet most of that time. add to my two 30 mins at the gym. you wouldn't believe how hard it is to reach 10000 steps in a day. I was very close to it only once in over a month of wearing it each day. I love these challenges. marie.

    I am going to start some calisthenics to hopefully build up some strength...

    short bike ride yesterday. was nice.

    a) - am a bit sore, and
    b) - its going to be mega hot

    I have now returned to a healthy range for my bmi. I will increase my steps to average at 7000 to 8000. and continue to go to the gym 6 days a week. marie.

    post script. Saturday about 10am, my lower back decided to give out on me, while im just standing at my kitchen sink. I never have a back ache, and I almost fell to my knees in pain. its now nearly four, and I can just manage to move about. a pity post, I know, but I do hope I get better and not have to miss my gym or work on Monday. M

    update on my back. I have seen my doctor and had xrays, back to the gp on Wednesday, no gym for me this week im so sad to be missing the gym. I feel ok, but only about a 4 on a scale of 10. when it happened I was almost in tears, so it is much better. anyway, back to the gym as soon as I can, and eating healthy while I wait. marie

    Oh no. Did the Dr say what may have caused the back pain? Hope you get better soon and can get back into the exercise.

    I haven't been as diligent with my exercise lately. Also think I am making things way too complicated with different workouts so I am going back to basics.

    hi jontu, and katiesmum ive had xrays, doctor looking for oesteo- ?? but I don't think there will be any signs of that. I am feeling better each day, but sad that I have to stay away from the gym for this week. I will be looking after my grand daughters this afternoon, so I hope they don't wear me out. oh well, these things happen. marie.

    I will join. I walk a lot up hills (live in a hilly area my legs kill me lol). I walked kids to school 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back.
