    Default Pantry challenge.

In the spirit of frugal February I thought I would set us a pantry challenge.

Challenges (so you can pick your level)

    1) live of your pantry for 2 week. Only allowed to by fresh fruit and veg and dairy.

    2) live of your pantry for 1 week. Only allowed to buy fruit and vegetables and dairy

    3) 3 days this week make only pantry foods.

    4) live of your pantry for as long as you can. (Can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy and meat on 2 days In the week)

    5) make all meals, snacks from the pantry only allowed to buy 1 product a day for the next week. (Can brought on one go or as needed)

To help with this go make a Inventory of your pantry. Fridge and freezer.

Use this thread for ideas or for help in making a meal with what you have.

Great idea. I have to think about which challenge I want to do but I'm in for something, definitely.

I'm up for this one. I will be able to do 2) but maybe 1).

I am so in for this. Should be easier given that I did shopping yesterday!

I might even try for option 1) for three weeks to give myself a bigger challenge.

I'm keen to give option 1 a go as that was pretty much my plan for the fortnight already.

I'll try for option 1. Usually only shop once a week anyway, so should be able to stretch.

Hope you are all ready for the 'what can I make with ...' threads.

I'm going with option 2 and will then extend it if I can

We don't have a pantry... As in, we don't keep regular non-perishables in the house for more than a week.
