I just woke from a nap while watching The Hangover (I've never seen it!) and now I'm chilling and watching it while resting up my sore leg!

Yup, DS ripped it open yesterday morning. Now it hurts whenever I'm upright!

So my dh was saying that there is nowhere in the qld constitution that actually says that the premier needs to be popularly elected, just the leader of the party. I will be interested to see how this election pans out and if the lnp holds government but newman loses ashgrove, we he exploit this?! They let him lead the party before being elected before the 2012 election.

Apparently Peter Beattie was intending to change it to bring in online with the expectation that they be popularly elected.

I read something like this. There was also something about they need to be voted in within 90days. Can't remember where I read that.

    It is looking very interesting.

We spent the afternoon playing Peggle on the Xbox arcade gsmes. Now am just watching my DS sleeping and he's having a bit of a snore in his cot. Might do a bit of art work or crafty stuff later before bed.
@LoveLivesHere - Wow how scary glad he is ok. Must have been such a worry! A brown snake, was only small came inside our house once. We have a big paddock with long grass behind our back fence. Anyway all doors were closed but must have come in through the back door which is in the laundry. Luckily DH saw it and screamed out. Caught it under a slow cooker pot and put cooker pot outside with lid on and snake inside. It died after a while as we didn't know what to do with it.

My 2 DD'S bedroom is next to laundry though and it was close to slithering in there. Still makes me nervous thinking about it, was about a year ago.

Ah!! Boys my boys are in bed. Very lazy day here slept most of it because I worked night shift last night. Very lazy afternoon. Made homemade spelt pizzas with the boys tonight while DH is out. Off for another night shift soon.
