My DD goes back tomorrow, she'll be grade 1. Feeling a bit sad but she's also really back chatty the last week, thinking she's all grown up so I think she needs back.

I've just signed my other DD for pre school too, just waiting for a spot for her. So will be another child down.

My DS1 goes back on Thursday. He will be in year one. There school is testing all students of their knowledge of mathematics before they return to school, so we will be up at school in the morning.

My lot (grades 10, 8, 6 and 1) went back today. Seeing dd2 in her high school uniform was hard. It a stark reminder that she is growing up.
Ds2 (grade1) didn't want me to get out of the car. Really didn't want me to walk him to his class. Apparently he is too big for that.

@LoveLivesHere, my DS1 did the same thing. He is going into year one, didn't want me to kiss him goodbye or walk him in. I think I'm am losing my sweet little boy. Hugs to you xo

    Default Schools back

Well I dropped my ds off this morning, dropped my car in for a service so I'm feeling very strange without the kids and without my car! Walked down to local cafe for some brunch. Time to start job hunting soon..
No tears or dramas from ds, barely even noticed I left
