    Default Changing Clinics Melbourne

    Hi,

After our latest BFN we are considering changing clinics. Has anyone does this here in Victoria and do you need to start from the very start or they able to transfer all your details? ( thinking more like the police checks, councellor notes etc)

    Thanks.

Hi, we have just recently changed from city fertility to monash.

We were able to arrange for our medical records to be sent to monash, though we did need to undergo a few new tests.

We had to give them our current police checks etc - no need to get new ones you just need the original copies.

We did need to do the counselling again and complete new medical history forms and "contracts" etc

Based on all of that our specialist then determined that he wanted to do a few extra tests.

All the best - I hope the change is what you need to make your dreams come true! xx

Thank you for the reply and info @freakedout44
I'm glad to hear it is pretty straight forward. I'm sure all the extra tests are worthwhile and possibly what will make the difference in the change of clinic.
Best wishes and good luck to you, hoping your little one is not to far away x

I have thought about it juzzabelle but haven't done it myself. If I have no success after this 'batch' of frosties I'm changing. Where are you changing to and from?

@Minib we are currently with Ballarat IVF and they are fantastic, we have our DD with their help.

We don't live in the area anymore so contemplating somewhere in Melbs instead as we had to travel back for the last cycle.

After this last cycle we have 1 little frostie left so we will most likely try our luck.
Although we so love Dr Dalton and the staff, if not successful next time we may head into Melb instead.
