@LittleBug'sMum, i always carry my bub in a harness with school drop off and pick up. Sometimes the movement with make him fall asleep too.

I've just come back to tell all you wonderful ladies that you were right, it did sort itself out! Not sure if it was DS2 getting a bit older, but now he can easily wait until we get home from school to have his sleep, and we fit in a second sleep before pick up too.
