The exact same thing happened to me. It was excruciating!!

I was getting pains like I was in labour! I was bleeding massive chunks. I went to the ER and they ruled out a new pregnancy and said it was just "left over" it was awful!

@Gracie's Mum, my heart is breaking for you. What made them say you were miscarrying 10 weeks ago? Obviously you were bleeding and your HCG dropped? Did you pass clots then? How certain are you of your dates?

Your experience today sounds exactly like my miscarriage at 9.5 weeks and I didn't look at what I passed but my Mum did and your description sounds similar to hers. I am disgusted that they didn't scan you after your miscarriage, that is standard procedure to ensure there's nothing left that could get infected because it's very dangerous! From what you've described, it sounds like a complete miscarriage and that there'll be nothing left but you must get scanned to be sure.

What an awful thing to happen to you. I'm glad you've got an appt to get yourself checked out. From what you've described, it sounds like the pregnancy you've miscarried was a little further along than 6 weeks, but only by a couple of weeks. If you could see arms/legs I would guess around 8 weeks? Is it possible that it's a new pregnancy? If not then when you miscarried in nov, it may not have been a complete miscarriage - you can bleed for a variety of reasons, although the negative hcg result makes it a little more confusing. I hope you're ok. If you need to talk or ask questions, feel free to PM me. I'll do my best to answer any questions.
