Do you ladies use pregnancy pillow? I've been trying to sleep on my left side for the last 8 weeks. No good. I always roll to my back. Does the pregnancy pillow help?

@Minib - I only felt bub sporadically until 27/28 weeks. But since 30ish, he's been really active. Now at almost 34 I see his elbows / feet protruding all the time.

Don't sweat it if you can't feel much. I was really worried, and now I'd love for an hour of peace so I can sleep.

Well, I thought it helps but it does nothing for me and it is taking up space on my bed. The thing is that I don't even like to sleep on pillow. At the beginning, it helped when i wanted to sleep at an angle, not completely flat. Now, I am just back to hugging my normal pillow to sleep. The preg pillow is huge. I don't think i can sleep with the "proper" side sleeping posture (curling up legs and pillow in between etc). It is just too uncomfortable for me so I just do whatever is comfortable to me. Another problem of sleeping on the side for me now is my arms and hands don't seem to get enough blood supply, numb and hurting. Since it doesn't get much use now, I am glad that i got the simple big, long pregnancy pillow from Kmart. It really depends on you. I think the main problem is probably because I don't like sleeping on one to begin with.

Congrats on being PUPO @Tanej78! That's great they are monitoring you and giving u a test on Monday. Yes I think guided ultrasound for transfers is def the way to go. Otherwise it's just going blind. Lots of baby dust your way!! Do you think you'll POAS beforehand? Hehe

@Minib - I've heard those pillows that you hug are quite helpful. But I've also heard of ladies not worrying too much about sleeping on their back. I normally sleep on my side and sometimes end up on my back. Like Bbhope I'm just doing whatever makes me sleep better. I went to a class and they said the side sleep isn't meant to be full on side sleep on yor arm but just slightly elevated back so you are sort of side sort of flat (if that makes sense)

Thanks ladies re the pillow. I also posted this question in the July/August/sep thread. Thread crashing lol. I have a long body pillow so I'm going to try using that first.

Yeah as long as slightly elevated then it's ok.

Thanks to this thread, I actually went to our storage unit and dug out the body pillow today. The cover is drying and I look forward to seeing if it helps tonight.

Ya. In a normal preg, 30 is plenty. But I is always good to be cautious. There is no such thing as p4 overdose in early preg or during tww.

    Fx for bfp!
