@Minib that means you'll find out the sex when I do too bbhope will find out next week.

Well that's not too far away. Goodluck with it all. Another big milestone but you are slowly ticking them off! I can't wait to find out the sex, feels like I've been waiting forever!

I am so sorry to hear, @Emerald26! This is just so heartbreaking. Hugs. Take good care of youself and DH. It is not what you want to think about it right now. I read your signature, have you gotten all your immune things tested? It is not normal to have multiple miscarriages and BFN with normal PGD embies. Have a read on DrSher website about implantation dsyfunction. I am on steroid, clexane and intralipid (very basic kitchen sink approve for immune issue). I don't even know if immune problem is the reason of my chemical pregnancies but i went with the protocol again anyway. I strongly recommend to do a phone consult with Dr Gamal Matthias in Sydney (if you aren't in sydney). He is the best go to guy if your FS isn't familiar with any of it. I did consult him for second opinion. In the end, my FS and him gave me the same protocol. xx

I went to acupuncture last night. Not sure if it helps with my low lying placenta but i feel like at least i am doing something. My acupuncturist has a guess on the gender based on my pulses. My gut also tells me the same gender as well! So we would see if both of us are right.

I went in to do the random glucose today. Yesterday was a waste of time. The first path lab closed early for an unknown reason and the nearest has an early closing time. So I only did it today. To my surprise, the fast glucose testing result came back today in the mail! I did that on tuesday. I always tick the copy to patient box so i don't have to bug my Dr. I am so happy that it is normal! I don't have diabetes! The steroid absolutely messed up my level. And the 5kg weight gain during the first trimester is probably due to that as well. I am gaining 2kg so far in my second trimester. It has been like that since i weaned off steroid. I thought one would gain 0.5kg per week in second trimester? My OB said that one shouldn't exceed 15kg weight gain throughout the pregnancy, though. I am already half way on the scale.

Now, waiting for the GD test in 26w.

@bbhope good to hear you don't have diabetes. That's awesome. I also heard 12-15kgs is the normal weight gain but I've seen people with less or more weight gain. A friend who's very petite put on 20kgs with both pregnancies. Her OB wasn't concerned. She just got uncomfortable towards the end cos she put on half her body weight. Weight per pregnancy 43kgs and finished up around 65kgs. As long as your ob isn't concerned then don't worry so much.

I do weekly acupuncture too but will stop at 12 weeks so only 2 more sessions. It's relaxing isn't it.

Oh I wonder what you are having

I was planning to stop the acupuncture at 12w but seeing it might help with low lying placenta (again no idea if it helps but it at least helps my anxiety) so i went back.

Hahah....it is 50/50 guess. I'll say it after it is confirmed.

Yay to no diabetes @bbhope! I think accupuncture is great if it helps you relax. Ive never done accupuncture. I'm scared of needles and I was going to do it for this FET but chickened out. The thought of doing it was stressing me out so I decided not to as I didn't need anymore stress.

Oh wonder if you are right @bbhope. Not long before you find out!

@Gelati I wouldn't do acupuncture if you are scared of needles. It certainly won't be relaxing for you.

Have a great day today ladies x
