We have a 2 year old granddaughter who is living with is and I would like to get some sort of temporary lock for my office and bedroom door, that I can lock when closing door on the outside. Bedroom door has a door knob lock only suitable for locking from the inside. I have noticed the plastic safety cupboard locks which are great but not sure what to look for for a standard door.
thank you in advance

We tried those locks but didn't last long. We now have a safety/stair gate at our study door which does the job perfectly.

We have safety gates too. It means that you can have the door open for air flow and also allows your granddaughter to see you in the room rather than not knowing what's going on.

Only suggestion i have is to change the door knobs to ones that you can lock from outside
