Default What's your experience with Clear Blue Ovulation tracker?

This month I've started using the Clear Blue Ovulation tracker (the flashing smiley face version) this month. I've got a couple of questions I'm hoping some lovely ladies out there may be able to help with.

I've had five days of flashing smiley face (high fertility) in a row. Do a lot of other ladies have more than the 2 high fertility days suggested on the box/website?

We've been covering our bases and dtd every other day over this period, just in case. I'm worried I'm not going to get the solid smiley face (peak fertility) symbol. Plus I'm running out of test strips! Has this (no high fertility indicator) happened to anyone else? What does that mean?

Has anyone else gotten a BFP after high fertility but no peak fertility period (as predicted by the Clear Blue kit?)

How quickly did you get a BFP when using the Clear Blue Ovulation tracker?

    Thanks for your time!

Hi Happy Camper, I used it for 3 months in a row and got the following:

Month 1- 6 flashing smileys, got a solid smiley on the afternoon of the 6th one (had ovulation signs - achy and ewcm)

Month 2 - 3 flashing smileys and peak/solid smiley on the afternoon of the 3rd flashing smiley (ovulation signs again)

Month 3 - 3 flashing smileys and peak the following day.

I started testing around CD 7-8 (short cycles) and got at least one open circle each month before getting my flashing smileys.

I think they say that if you have more than 9 flashing smileys you're unlikely to ovulate, so you've still got some
time. The other things to remember are to start testing on the right cycle day (there is a guide in the pack) - if you don't, it will be comparing your hormone levels from day to day incorrectly I think. Also, if you have any ovulation signs like twinges or EWCM, you can test in the afternoon after holding your pee for a bit too.

Good luck! I'm now nearly 9 weeks pregnant so they worked for us

I used it for my DS and it was brilliant! I think I stopped testing after the first smily because I don't remember getting more then 1. It did work though.

    Default feeling a little foolish...

Ok, this morning I feel like "that person" who calls the IT help desk because their computer won't turn on, and it turns out the monitor is switched off.... got a solid smiley face this morning! Yay! Got DH all lined up to dtd tonight. Here goes nothing!!! 😉
