That's so pretty! What material did you use for that?

I bit the bullet and bought the fabrics I was looking at - they're just too cute, I had to have them!

Now to just very patiently wait for them to arrive!

It's chiffon fabric from the remnant warehouse online, I got it a while ago! I'm just waiting for some Pom Pom trim from eBay to go around the bottom! I love those fabrics especially the moustache one!

Aren't they? They're from Etsy, I love Riley Blake & Michael Miller fabrics. I'd like to buy all of them but they cost more than I like to spend on material. DD's bedroom is themed with Riley Blake's girl chevron

I absolutely love sewing but I am hopeless at it

I have a 70's sewing machine which my Nan says runs like new and I still haven't learnt how to use it.

My mum's sewing machine that I learned on was quite old, I'd say 70's/80's. The ones at school weren't much newer! Even my machine now it's pretty basic. Mum upgraded to a whizz-bang computerised machine that could embroider basic things (like words/names) when I still lived at home but I stayed away from it - too much technology for me!

Maybe if I get good enough at this sewing lark I'll convince DH that I need a fancy machine & an over locker etc. Maybe..
