Shorts can be easy! Search 'baby shorts pattern' on etsy and see if there's any there that you like. The pattern I have came from there, it came with a tutorial & is EASY. I don't know why I didn't look it up before when I was looking for shorts for DD, she needs room for her cloth nappies but has a tiny waist, so I make her shorts in a slightly bigger size but use less waist elastic to get a perfect fit good luck!

I found some amazingly easy step by step patterns on a site called 'Dana made it' she also adds adjustments and changes to the original pattern so you get max use from one pattern. Pretty good since the pattern is something like $8 for an digital download.

I made her shorts with the retro shorts option. Ds loves them.
She also does from one pattern- long pants, elastic waist, flat front, add a pocket and a cute girly ruffled short.

I don't know if they're all doing it, but the Textile Traders nearest me is having a one day craft sale today - loads of fabrics for 50% off! I got some Michael Miller chevron for $2/m, also a Christmas advent calendar panel & a baby bib panel for $1 each. So if you're near one it might be worth checking out today!

Not sure which I'm more excited about. My Snow White dress up apron (for me for my daughters party) or the fact that I re threaded my overlocker! ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1422519475.680877.jpg

I've been looking for patterns for soft toys so I can make some with my MCNs when the elastics die, but haven't found anything I love (or that I think would still look good as a patchwork type thing). Let us know how you go!

I've got a project underway, a pram makeover! I've always wanted a Bugaboo Cameleon, and since finding out that you can make your own canopies & seat liners for them, I went on a hunt for a cheap secondhand one! I got one yesterday & am in the process of dismantling it & getting my fabric together. I really hope it works out well enough to post pics when I'm done!

I made this for my best friend's DD for her birthday. She's having a ladybug themed party.
