Oh no I'm too late now, but I found that when my babies got a bug the best way to save on washing was to get both of us naked and breastfeed in the bath. That way if they vomited it was easy to get clean and the vomit was contained. Hopefully this will help for next time.
I hope you're both feeling better today xx

How are you now? There is a stomach flu going around, myself and MIL got it two weeks ago, thankfully it seems to be a 24hr thing. DH and I are in London Bridge, please PM me if your not feeling better and I can bring you anything/help!

    Default What do I do?

    Hi girls!

We're both doing heaps better thanks. I'm friggin' exhausted, besides my body trying to get over being ill I've had even less sleep than usual so I am hurting! DH owes me big for this, he's in Melbourne for a friend's wedding so completely responsibility free for almost two weeks, and it was my idea!!!! ::slaps forehead::

DS is doing good. Off his food a bit but overall he's stayed cheerful (and nutty) and hasn't vomited since yesterday morning which is good. I ended up having to syringe feed him diluted cranberry juice to just get some fluid into him as he wouldn't breastfeed or take anything else. Once I got about 25mls in that way and he had a good nap, he woke up and started breastfeeding again.

I didn't know about any other hubbers over here!

    Default What do I do?

So DH arrived home yesterday morning. Went straight to work from the airport so we didn't see him until evening. He was home in time to do bath and stories with DS but then straight to bed because of jetlag and apparently he's had a cold/flu for over a week (or ya know his body is exhausted and run down from traveling around the world and most likely drinking non-stop until he landed back in the uk). Then off to work early this morning. Then gets home tonight and he has gastro! Are you serious?! I know he can't help it but I'm slightly bitter that 1) I'm yet to have any type of break from even something simple like not having to do the dishes or take a shower without the baby monitor. And 2) that he gets to vomit and cr^p in peace and follow it up by passing out in bed by himself and when I had it I still had to take care of DS, clean up my own cr^p and vomit and no extra sleep or bed to myself.

    Must be rough being DH.

The inequity!!!! Yep, I'm right there with you. Similar has happened to me before and it seems so horribly unjust. What is with you, universe?!?
