    Default FTB B question

Would anyone know why at the end of the month my FTB B is dropping from 5
    $53 to $7?
My youngest ds will be 5. Is that why?

Mine is reducing also, and my youngest also turns 5. So I am guessing that might be why! I'm looking on their website but I can't see anything about it. I'll keep looking.

Oh that's just great haha I didn't think it happened until they turned 6, that must reduced it a lot more at 6 I'm guessing.

Yes I am confused too. I thought it cut out altogether at 6 now? Not sure if that was just a proposal if it has been passed in the senate. I'm on the phone now I'll let you know what they say when they eventually take me off hold.

    Hi again,

I just spoke to someone and yes, it is because our youngest are turning 5. FTB Part B reduces at the age. Also, the changes in relation to youngest turning 6 haven't been passed yet.

    Hope that helps.
