A nice 4 bedroom would be $650k up and about 25 years old. Something newer is more $800k. For a really old doer-uppera in a 4 bed (which is rare as most are 3 bed) one would expect to pay around $420-$450k.

here in country SA (but not too far out - we still have maccas lol) my 5bed 2bath 2 storey house on 14acres is worth 400k. Our tiny 4bed 1 bath home (which we rent out) on 1 acre is worth 180k. At least, that's what they were when we moved into the big house 18 months ago. The market around here hasn't changed much though so it's probably the same.

    There isn't any atm.
    There's a 4bdr townhouse for $1mil, and a couple of 3bdr houses for around $1mil too.
    For rent, there's a 4bdr house for $800/week.

Around 350k when we bought recently for not bombed out dive of a house (renovators delight). The area is booming and around 400k now.

When the new housing development and the electric trains go through, the price will boom up more

Anywhere over $600K. This is in surrounding suburbs only as there are no 4br houses for sale here.
