Wow! Leave the thread for a week and looo what you miss... Congrats unicorns!! Can't believe you got your BFP I too have been following your story since jan and was super happy to read of your success!
I'm quite excited as I got my first crosshair today. This is my first month of temping and my chart is quite jagged so I was a bit worried I hadn't O'ed. Now I know for sure I just have to wait one more week.... Common! I may not last until the 18th... Just sayin!

Will Drs do blood tests etc to confirm ovulation even if you haven't been trying for 12 months?
This is only our 4th month, second of really trying but I feel like if we get to 6 with no luck that I'd at least like to speak to a Dr about what our options are and things we can do.
I am under 35 but my husband is over. Does the guys age make a difference?

I am 28 and hubby is 39. We have been trying for 1 month only and hubby just had his swimmers tested today. Referral was no issue as I said I want to know for piece of mind.
If this month is unsuccessful I will get my cycle tracked by ivf australia.
My doctor says it won't harm and if nothing happens after month 3 she even said to further investigate.
I have endometriosis though and recent successful lap surgery so my doctor is of the opinion that it shouldn't take very long hence the reason she suggested 3 months instead of 6 months in my case.
She thinks tests don't harm and doctors shouldn't reluctant to refer earlier if the patient can afford it and wants to.
