Default Any experiences with Primary Ivf?

I'm ok @LillyM! Just woke up thanks to a noisy neighbour, otherwise I think I'd have slept until midday. Yesterday didn't sleep at all, which is weird because every time after EPU I usually take a 3 hours nap.
Feeling pretty much "normal" now, yesterday I was so bloated I looked 4 months pregnant!
@VickyP how are you feeling? Drugs were a must for me in that overstimulated cycle, and fluids (I can't never repeat it enough). Do you have any symptoms? Don't hesitate and call the nurses if you're worried. ❤️
@tjuls wondering how you are doing!
@Billie2 how are the new drugs treating you? I'm pretty sure you got this!💪

Hope you're feeling a little better today after a nice sleep @VickyP. If you have to stay and recuperate at home, I highly recommend it. I went to work the day after my EPU and I was dying!! I was sooo bloated and sitting down just wasn't the same as lying down. Take the day off hun- its a good day to stay at home

I also looked like i was 4 mnths pregnant @Kookii . Friend's cousin even asked me if the 2nd was on the way.. I wish!!

Afm- I feel normal- no symptoms really, so I'm just chilling here in the corner excited for updates from you ladies. @unicorn2016- how did your preg test go ? pls tell us you have good news and you've been soaking yourself in the bfp before telling us..pls pls pls

Very fitting dont you think @Billie2?
I have confidence that the new treatment plan will give egg-cellent results this cycle. How are you feeling btw? Hope the first jab went well.

@tjuls I am getting a bit eggcited. Renewed energy now first one down. Its such a simple injection. And my vile is 900mg, so I get 3 jabs out of the one vile. I stab the needle right to the end up to the pen. Is that too far?

Best night sleep I think Ive had in a long time.

    YAY!! one down!!

I don't think thats too far- actually I did that too. I was more tired while on puregon. I usually dont sleep til 11pm but on the first 3 or 4 nights- I was knocked out by 9:30pm!! 9:30pm- 6:30pm-- best sleep ever. So I guess the puregon is working its magic right now. Were you able to use your the puregon you had left over from ur 1st cycle?

Sooo... Nurse called and killed me: zero embryo...ZERO! Out of 7.
Not even one. Wasn't expected that.

I'm devastated. It's not so much the back to square 1 that bothers me the most - it's more: what's the hell is wrong with me? Will I be EVER able to make a baby?

I feel useless and hopeless, my body is failing me, and I'm failing my partner.

I'm giving myself today to feel sorry for myself and cry it out and then I'll get over it.
I'm ready for action, bur I don't have a plan yet...

Can I go straight onto a new cycle? Will they analyse further what went wrong and if there is anything to fix before trying another cycle?

    So confusing...

Fingers crossed for other ladies... hope to hear better news that mine!

@tjuls I opened a new vile as the old one is only 300mg and in my head, my mental paranoid suspicious head, I didn't want to bring last cycles drugs into my new cycle. We had a few blackouts with storms since November, so I was even worried it may have had an effect on the meds in the fridge. I know its probably not rational thinking, but if cycle goes south, Id blame my old drugs. Im a weirdo!! 😜🙃🙋🏼

@LillyM wow.. I don't even know what to say. I am assuming you didn't have ICSI? I seriously thought you'd have the best quality due to a good sturdy number. I am aiming for 7 eggs. I think its a great haul.

Im really sorry. Its fckd to have a failed cycle. You have that feeling that if the last resort didnt work, then what? No where else to go from here. Take your day to digest the news. Cry loud in the shower. But come back ready to go again. Some of us have to fight a bit harder to get an embryo. So get your gloves ready for next time..x

Coming off a failed cycle I can tell you that you wont get to go straight into a new cycle unless you can scam a FS appt before your period comes. And you will have to pay $120 for the appt as bulk billing is for every 31 days, not per menstruation cycle. So if you cycle under 31 days, your cycle wont be bulk billed (but check that, Im not 100% on that part). Probably better for your body for a month gap, have your appt and then you are good to go. I had 2 cycles break due to Xmas closure.

Huge hugs.. I'll kick the bin for you to get some stress out. Do you play golf? Driving range is a good place to exert anger. Those golf balls don't know whats hit them.
