@tjuls when is your appt? Thank you!!

With @Danymatthew so close in cycle, I might hold off in details till she has done the same. Just so I dont say anything to ruin her first exp. All I can say it that no one warned me about the bloody esky I had to carry plus a plastic bag of drugs. And dont forget your diary sheet @Danymatthew

But I am officially stimming. I am very overwhelmed and thought I was going to burst into tears walking back to my office with all the drugs. So now I am more calm, I am off to Myer at lunch to buy 1 baby item to remind me why I am here.

@Billie2 - apptment is at 11am next wed. I haven't been sent to do any scans. However, I already had a HSG done with USFW in Aug. Result of that was no blocked tubes, uterus looks fine, C-section scarring is fine, no adhesions or fibroids. The only 'abnormal' thing was that my ovaries looked PCOS. OB/gyn didnt worry to much about it though.

Oh gosh - an esky? what an accessory to have to carry around!
Cant wait to hear all about urs and Danymatthew's experience..

I am seriously considering going to a medical centre to have my injections done for me. I just cant see myself doing it at all. I gave birth without drugs and here I am too scared to stick a needle in my belly. I would make a crap junkie!!

@Billie2- haha.. i wish it was yesterday but its next wed- 25th nov

How r u doing? Did u get the nurse to give u the 2nd injection? Have u tried numbing the area with an ice cube if the needle is abit too daunting? Ive used this technique, not for needles- to pick out an ingrown hair ( sorry tmi.. )

Havent heard back from Danymatthew- isnt she stimming at the same time?

@tjuls I have no choice but to do it myself for the next load of injections. The Elonva was a bigger needle than the little Orgalutran that I start on sat. I have watched a few Youtube clips of women doing it and it helped. I figure that the trigger shot could be middle of the night so I may as well suck it up & get used to it now. Not really feeling anything so far, but only day 3 of stim. Long way yet!

Well less than a week to go for you now. Infertility teaches (tests more like it) us patience. Im so impatient.
@Danymatthew must be still waiting for af still. Not sure.

Stay strong @Billie2 ! 3 down 5 more to go(?). Indeed this whole ttc journey is very testing. Im usually not very patient but ive been forced to be patient with everything- o day, then tww for af or bfp, wait for af to be over, now wait for nxt apptment. Theres a lot waiting but i think i'll never get used to it..😁

Hope we hear good news from her soon
