@tjuls my amh was only 9.4 but I am 38, so its expected. Maybe that has something to do with it, no idea. Is your next appt with the GP? That takes 2 seconds and all that comes from that is a referral to a specialist across the hallway. If you can, ring & book your specialist for same day. Tell the reception all tests are complete & its hard to get time off for both of you to be there. I know they do it as the patient in front of me had her specialist appt straight after her GP. We saw the specialist when I was on cycle day 2! I was kicking myself we had to wait a full cycle. But it goes quick enough, Im now down to 4 days till end of cycle. They only close for about a week from xmas.

@Billie2. That sounds like a great idea! I will give them a call now.. Just one problem- how do I know which FS to book with? Wont the GP refer me to one that is available?
4 days? woohoo!! I'm excited for you to start your treatment!

@Billie2 . I called but unfortunately they don't book FS apptment on the day of the GP apptment apparently. So I'll have to go to the GP apptment and hopefully get to see the FS on the same day.. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone would be great.
Thank you for the advice!

Maybe they reserve it for interstate and country people? My GP told us the patient before us had both appts booked but she still hadnt completed all her tests so GP said we could try and steal her FS appt, but it had passed. I have to say that the appt's are always on time. We have never waited longer than 5-10mins. Well, just think, you are 3 appts away from kick off! Woo hoo!

@Billie2 I got my nurse appointment today. I saw Tracy and she was lovely! She explained clearly the process and reassured me on the needles. Like you, I'll have blood test on day 1 and 1 inj on day 2 which will last for 7 days. they'll do it, so not worried for that. From day 5 till when they'll tell me I'll have to get Orgalutran inj, to be done by myself. I'll try to remind how the nurse will do the 1st one! Finally, Ovidrel immediately before the eggs collection. Does it sound like your procedure? When are you starting? Another thing is that they have a cut off date in December, therefore if you don't get the period on time the cycle will be postponed to January. As I have long cycles, I am starting Provera on Friday, therefore hopefully I'll be on the starting blocks in 1 week!

@Danymatthew we are going to cycle together for sure! I might see if they will do my Elonva for me. I am due on monday, im a clockwork 25 day cycler. My nurse was Lee, the little chinese lady & she came from Genea. She told me the only difference between the expensive FS companies and primary was that we wont get a cup of tea after egg collection! Haha. So overwhelming though! We might sit next to each other & not even know. Last weekend of our pre IVF life!

How exciting for you both @Billie2 and @Danymatthew !
I anticipate we may not kick start til Jan if we dont get to see the FS on the same day as GP. But oh well.. when life gives you lemons,.. you make lemonade!!! Just have to be patient I guess.
Your treatment plans sounds very similar. Woohoo to your last weekend before IVF!!! to you both
