Not in the first trimester but I did have a glass of wine every now & then in the other two. Only one at a time mind & only on special occasions like a dinner out or a celebration. Not just cos it was a Tuesday. 😉

You do what you feel right doing Tazz. (Well not the smoking thing obviously, that's just loony talk) You'll probably get this sort of thing all during your pregnancy, what to do/not do & what to eat/not eat. Personally I didn't restrict what I ate when preg with my DS, but I was smart about it & made sure I knew exactly where the food came from & how fresh it was. However if you don't feel right about eating ham or salami or soft cheese or whatever it is, then don't! It's your body. And you just ignore anyone who starts on you with "in my day..." 😊

Yes, this. There is no 'safe' amount of alcohol consumption during pregnancy; nothing has been proven.
For that reason, I didn't drink anything at all when I was pregnant. I'd rather err on the side of caution.

I haven't had any alcohol but then I didn't really drink before I got pregnant anyway.

I gave up alcohol when I found out I was pregnant with dd1. Didn't ever bother to drink again. Just never had the desire to drink after I had kids. I am a strange one. I know.

I had a few drinks the night before i found out i was pregnant (seriously thought af had arrived) and i noticed they tasted strange but didn't think anything of it at the time. Since then i haven't had a drink, don't see the point.

An acquaintance of ours smoked during her second pregnancy so she would have a smaller baby... it's so f'd up. They still smoke heaps around their children too, its disgusting.
