Is it normal to have big veins underneath the gums of a teething baby? Poor DS gums are bulging and swollen and have quite dark veins under the gum

Dd cut her two front top teeth about a week or two ago, and in the days before they came through she had a bit of a purple blood blister there. She seemed fine with it during the day but nights were awful and she was really unsettled. I don't think they were veins though. She is now getting two more of her top teeth and it looks a little purple again, but not as bad as the last two.

Maybe they are blood blisters then? They look so much like big veins though. He has 8 teeth and I only remember 1 of them having this, but now 3 molars are on their way and 2 of them have this
Looks so painful
