    Default Acupuncture for fertility

Has anyone ever tried acupuncture to regulate cycles and ovulation? I'm still breastfeeding my 12mo and TTC my second but my cycles are all over the place because of the BF, she's not ready to wean yet either

I know people who swear by acupuncture when ttc. It apparently helps not only with hormone regulation but also with relaxation. There is also a reasonable amount of evidence that shows acupuncture increases the chance of a successful embryo transfer through IVF. I haven't personally been down this path yet due to the cost. I rang a couple of places and they said that it is recommended to come in 2 times a week

I had a short lp, ovulating at cd18 and af arriving at cd25. I decided to have 1 session of acupuncture done before my fertile period and it helped bring ovulation forward by 2 days allowing us to conceive.

Several other ladies on here who tried it after me have also been successful.

Its definitely worth a try to help regulate your cycles.

Thanks I'll definitely look into it, fortunately I was able to conceive my first naturally so I shouldn't have an issue this time once my hormones sort themselves out

Yeo I used acupuncture to get my cycles back into line after breastfeeding with both my children.

We ttc for a year before I had one session of acupuncture for relaxation and fertility. My twins were conceived on the next cycle. I don't know of it was just a coincidence or not.
