Default Do you do boxing day sales, if so, which ones?

Normally we are doing xmas #2 with my family on boxing day but this year they are away so im thinking of heading to the sales.

My kids need new clothes and thought the sales would be a good place to go.
Im thinking target or big w.

For those who do the sales, what are they like. Are they insane with crowds? Are they worth it? Do you save quite a bit?

I wont be going to the major shopping centers, just out local ones.

I did online Boxing Day sales. It was great. Much better than braving shops. I shopped online for a few hours watching the cricket with a glass of wine.

I bought 2 new dresses, a new top and two bras from city chic. I was very happy with the bargains I got.

We went to a larger centre and it was a little crazy. But everyone was patient and polite. I didn't find shoes I wanted but did pick up some other necessary things. Online sales are much easier though

    Cheers

It was actually really nice to see my town buzzing with activity for a change!
First Boxing Day sales with a bub so it was a little different. But fun. Spent up bigger than I should have at pumpkin patch.

I'm planning to do what I did last year and wait a few days before venturing into sydney Pitt street mall...we found that after a few days things were less crazy, the sales were still going and at least the big stores were still well stocked! Might not work everywhere but we'll see!
