The only presents under our tree atm are those we will give away to others. Presents for the kids will be put out after they go to bed on Christmas Eve. When Santa no longer visits and they can enjoy rattling boxes and guessing contents then I'll put them out earlier but for now everything happens on Christmas day

After the Christmas tree goes up (usually first weekend in December) I wrap a present or 2 each night for the kids so I don't have to do it all in one go.

Presents from DH and I are put out slowly as they're bought and wrapped. I love the suspense and excitement from Miss 8 as she sees the pile growing and tries to figure them out from the size/shape. She's never touched them or tried to unwrap before Christmas morning. Santa brings the "big" present and fills the stockings on Christmas Eve.

All presents, except from Santa, go under the tree as they're bought.

Out under tree whenever they'r wrapped. DS's are usually done Christmas Eve when I gather all his presents together to decide what's from me and what's from Santa. Santa presents are out Christmas Eve in a stocking at the end of his bed.

All the presents go under the tree as they are brought except for santa presents which go in their sacks on christmas eve.
The kids have not even touched the wrapped gifts!
