I'm due in four weeks with our first bub and since getting pregnant am learning about all the "joys" of childcare options in Sydney!
I'm currently a PhD student and I can only taking 6 months for various reasons. Needless so say I will need childcare for some days of the week from August 2015. My parents and in laws all live interstate.
I'm on the wait list for 4 centres at my university and 2 near my home but I'm getting the impression from all of them that they can first offer something in early 2016.
So I'm now considering other options for family daycare or a nanny for just a couple of days a week and would love to know if you have any advice or recommendations.
Thanks in advance!
