Instead of worrying about making other people happy who by all accounts don't give a cr@p about me at all.
It's 6 months away and I'm ready to throw in the towel and whisk my boys away somewhere just the 3 of us.
Go for it! Too many people make other peoples weddings about themselves.
    Do what ever you want!!

Sometimes i want to be a dad as opposed to a mum, cause dads get to have a break, go out & have fun etc. I havent been away from ds for more than a couple of hours since he was born 8 months ago & that time has been for psych appointments, not fun.

    This evenings conversation:

DH: What are we doing next weekend
Me: As little as possible, we are all still sick and exhausted. Plus we need to get ready for our Easter holiday and not spend money.
DH: I think I'll hire a jackhammer and clean up that concrete that has been sitting down the back for nearly a year.
Me: That sounds like something, that doesn't sound related to our holiday, that sounds like it will cost money
DH: Don't get all grumpy - it was just an idea

Seriously - does anyone pay attention to me?

I think there would be many mums who wish to be a dad at least once or twice while their babies are small. I can remember thinking this myself quite a few times. hugs, marie.

Why do kids need to picked up from school. Why can't they magical grow wings and fly home. Or why can't we have magical worm holes in the space ad time that they just be suxed through and be home on a instant. I hate school pick ups.
Actually it not the actually pick up it the waiting in the car park for 30 to 45 mins for everyone to finally get here so we can go home.

This gave me a little giggle. I found a masterpiece from my dS1 in the back room the other day... ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1426487834.300732.jpg

You what happens when you complain about this. You kid comes to your Window and say I have to stay to 5 on for a play rehearsal. It far to go home and come back. So we have been stuck here for 2 and 1/2 hours with a child with social anxiety who can't be at fast food places or shops. Even one of her sibling outing the hand or head out of the Window of the park car is sending her into a meltdown. And my phone battery is dying.
