I had to buy for an 8 year old girl this year and on the advice of her mum I bought her bath products, such as bath gel, bath bombs, etc. Apparently she loves that sort of thing.

My other option was arts and crafts such as paint, glitter, glue, textas etc.

My 8 y/o niece loves jewellery, but more grown up stuff, not plastic beads etc. I got her a necklace with a flamingo pendant on it, a matching bracelet and some fluro colour hair ties and wrist bands from Lovisa for Christmas. They have a good kids range. Fluro is very much the in thing these days for girls. So fluro nail polish, thongs, pj's.
