My niece is turning 8 soon. I have a pressie for her twin brother, but having difficulty thinking of a present for her.
Is she too young for dolls?

I had to buy for an 8 year old girl this year and on the advice of her mum I bought her bath products, such as bath gel, bath bombs, etc. Apparently she loves that sort of thing.
My other option was arts and crafts such as paint, glitter, glue, textas etc.

Books or a book voucher.
Art/craft type stuff.
Hair accessories/nail polish/lip balm.
Checkers or other more grown up board games.
None of my daughters play with dolls anymore and the youngest is 7.

My 8 y/o niece loves jewellery, but more grown up stuff, not plastic beads etc. I got her a necklace with a flamingo pendant on it, a matching bracelet and some fluro colour hair ties and wrist bands from Lovisa for Christmas. They have a good kids range. Fluro is very much the in thing these days for girls. So fluro nail polish, thongs, pj's.

Dd is 7 and a half and still likes babies too she's getting a double pram and cot for Xmas for her baby born.
And at the moment she's walking around in a pink wonder girl costume that she's going to wear out for today. So also costumes.
