    Default Tell me your stories...

How many of you out there have gone back to work full-time after having children? I'm currently a SAHM and absolutely love it but am currently looking at the financial gain of full-time employment and how it would benefit our lives. Part-time isn't an option so it's all or nothing. Tell me your stories...

I am part time but work almost full time hours on shift work. I was all mornings but did a lot of nights due to constant drama at work which was getting me down. Now on nights on a perm basis for 4 nights a week unless i can pick up another night. I need full time hours as i cant support my family on part time.

Its hard. I have slacked off big time with the house work coz i am so tired but hopefully now with just night work, i can get a routine happening.

Im classed as part time at work as I work 30 hours a week on paper, in reality its more like 35.
Having said that I drop dd at school at 8:30 and im not home til 6:30-7 most nights. Im better off financially doing part time both in oshc savings and public transport fees plus less tax
