    I can't stand cheese next to a fried egg on a burger, but must have both on the burger !

    Yes it matters. Cheese and beetroot have to go together, lettuce next to the bread meat on the other end of the bread....and a whole lot more instructions as to if it's a hamburger or a cold meat sandwich lol

    If someone else is making me a sandwich then no it doesn't matter as long as it's being eaten immediately. Otherwise yes, rules do apply.

    DF asks that I put ham on each piece of bread and tomato between the ham slices so his bread doesn't go soggy.
    He's lucky he's cute!

    Order used to matter until I had a baby who doesn't like to be put down. So now Its slapped together in the order of whatever ingredient my hand grabs first

    You must have Mayo on one slice of bread and avo on the other. Ham is first on, cheese is last on and everything else in the middle. Salt and pepper always goes on the tomato.
