Klh, I really think it's worth it, I do understand what your saying, but if your going to a doctor who specialises in immune a then they know there stuff and will know what to do with all the info and how to treat it, for example, Deb , who used to post here, is my friend, she already has 3 children, youngest is 6, all naturally conceived, older like me, has had a couple of miscarriages, like myself, put down to old eggs, goes to zlin, has donor egg, does down regulation etc and has a chemical, goes back for frosties, on a natural cycle, no pregnancy, decided still go to reprofit for donor embryo's, has endo scratch before she goes with her OB, nothing, comes back and OB finds stage 1-2 endo, has immune testing with Dr M, finds all sorts... Double mthfr and high nk cells, goes on immune protocol including intripilds, prednisone, clexane and a couple of other things, nothing, so now she is at reprofit as we speak, just had another transfer and has had the book thrown at her so to speak by Dr M, long down regulation of 3 mths huge dose of prednisone, igiv instead of intrpilids, my point being, sometimes the standard dose of aspirin and prednisone isn't and won't be enough for some, so if you have some of these problems coming up in testing isn't it worth having a consult with someone who knows what to do with the results, yes it may cost $1500 but how many failed cycles will you be able to go through before the costs start mounting, I'm seeing some ladies that are onto the 5-6 donor egg cycle, and haven't had any other testing done, to me that's just crazy as something is obviously going on, unless they're going to a shonky clinic, but even that amount of times should be ringing warning bells

thank you Stacey10. That's helpful perspective. This is my first egg donor cycle and we leave in two weeks...so we don't have time to act before this cycle. That being said, if this isn't successful, it's time to take charge and look further. The good thing is that my hematologist called today with the remainder of my bloodwork and everything she ran (tons of clotting panels and several immunological tests) were normal...so let's hope all is good.

Hi AMFM. Hope you're feeling better.
I don't have any news. Just waiting for the appointment with dr M on the 16th which seems so far away. So, trying to stay busy until then.
    Have a great evening!
