Default First trimester monitoring with Dr Matthias

Hi emilyivf76, I tried to PM you but it seems like I don't have the access rights to do that (or I'm not doing it correctly as I'm only a day old at this forum).
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, fingers crossed your get success from your current cycle.
I'd love to know from you regarding the logistics of testing/sending blood work to the US. I'm assuming your FS in Melbourne is on board to follow Dr B's protocol and happy for you to have the testing done via B/Reprosource? I haven't reached that stage yet as I still have a few weeks to go before starting cycle and I'm finding the protocol to be quite overwhelming (even though it hasn't started yet) can I ask, you had to fly to Sydney to ship over the bloodwork to the US because you couldn't do it here in Melbourne?

    Hi Mongol,

Sorry to hear about your misscarriages and your fertility struggle. I actually cycled in San Diego as it was DE. The fresh transfer ended up being a success and I now have a 10m baby boy! I used Braverman to have the testing and get the protocol but then decided not to do the pregnancy monitoring with him due to cost and also how hard it was to have blood sent to USA. Didn't need the added stress. I was monitored by Dr Matthias here in Sydney instead. Much cheaper and easier for me. I went back for a FET in June but it failed so I am heading back to US again end of this month. I am still following Dr Braverman protocol but have also done LIT with Dr Matthias for the HLA matches. Hope this helps and happy to answer any other questions.

Default First trimester monitoring with Dr Matthias

Thanks Lazza for your very helpful response. I'm so glad you had success from previous transfer, congratulations!!
The pregnancy monitoring with Dr B costs a lot and im sure will be very stressful so I'm researching alternatives at the moment. Does Dr M perform the exact same pregnancy monitoring as Dr B? Do you know if there is any doctor in Melbourne that does it? Many thanks and all the best of luck for your upcoming transfer.

So much information here it's great. I would like your advice on logistics of getting all dr braverman's testing done. Do you get dr Bs tests done via dr sacks? Then does your FS in Melbourne work with dr B's protocol. Is he on board with the protocol. I live up in Newcastle and have read some great stuff on Dr B's website about all the immune tests. my FS here is good but doesn't seem to be too aware of DR B.

Did you end up getting tested by Dr Braverman? I've done Dr Sacks protocol and been through dr M but neither have worked so I'm considering Dr Braverman although it's expensive.
Did you go ahead with this and if so who monitored you? Did you have to go through Dr Sacks?

    Thanks

    Hi Lala39,

Due to difficult logistics, I've decided to go through Dr M. I'm not sure if any local FS will be able to arrange blood work to be send to Dr B. Did Dr B mention any places in aust where the blood work can be done and sent to him. Apart from Dr S ofcourse!!

Did you end up going ahead with Dr B and if so, how did it work with your doctor here? I'm trying to find a Sydney based doctor to work with him other than Dr S.
