Firstly congratulations!! Secondly I was exactly the same, I'm six months pregnant at the moment and like the first time round I have been sick constantly until week 22, then maybe once or twice a week since then and it's dreadful especially when you have to work...

This time round I was given maxalon, but found it made me a little anxious and was making my all day nausea worst, so they put me on zofran. It is expensive, but I found it worked much better for me and made all sickness symptoms ease.

I also found eating small constant meals worked, I wore the acupressure bands and strangely enough a2 milk has also been my saviour!!

Hope you get something to ease the nausea, I know exactly how you feel.xx
Thanks MrsSS!! Congrats to you too xx

It's bloody awful isn't it. When are you due?

Yep I'm exactly the same - DH keeps saying "last time babe" - definitely last time!

I'm due 22nd July but will have a c-section at 38 weeks so probably around July 7.

    How's your DD's sleep?

Hello - while I haven't been in your situation, I have a couple of girlfriends who were advised to take Restavit, which is an over the counter sleeping pill/antihistamine, along with vitamin b6, which worked well for their nausea. The combo is actually sold as a morning sickness drug in North America and has been used safely by millions of women.

    Good luck.

I totally feel for you. I'm 11 weeks now and finding that I'm getting blocks during the day where it is going away and now 4-9pm is the worst but at least it's not all day. Hugs. Rest every second you are not working as being tired and run down makes it worse.

I second restavit and b6. I took both of these as well as zofran for hyperemesis and I really think restavit made the biggest difference. The specialist also recommended sparkling apple juice.
It's truly horrible being sick all day. We are going to start ttc number two in the new year and I'm dreading the sickness already . I hope it eases soon.

Thanks everyone. I have restavit at home which I 've previously used to aid sleep occasionally - do you take it at night? @misstrouble

I took one tablet at night and occasionally I took half a tablet in the morning if the nausea was unbearable (and I didn't have to drive).
