I don't think either of us tasted it. Her tablet has a coating on it so that the outside doesn't taste yuck.

How old is she? I had read that they usually wean kids off it around 12 months. Is that because most kids grow out of it?

Hers didn't start until last year...well, like it is anyway. We noticed her breath and then I thought she had put something white in her mouth.

Yes, they usually grow out of it, but in her case she developed it, so I think that is why the specialist has bumped her onto the 'regular patient list' at his practice so that she can be seen sooner, which is nice in one respect. I don't know anyone who developed it in childhood so it will be interesting to see what is causing it.

DS is off his now had his last half a tablet on the weekend. Hoping he doesn't get a return of symptoms over the next few weeks.

We kept in tablet form and dissolved it in water and mixed with baby biotics to mask the taste
