Hello early 2015 buddies. Thought I'd create us a thread to hang out in.
I'm going for round no. 5 in January, my first FET. I have high hopes, it's my first and favourite frostie. How does FET differ from a 'normal' round. Will I still have to inject?

Hi @Sharlie, thank you for starting this thread.
We are starting a fresh ICSI cycle in Jan for #2.
We have a perfect 13month DD from our last (and favourite too) frozen embryo.
From memory it was a natural cycle & I didn't have to inject. They just monitored for ovulation & then did the transfer on day 5.
Looking forward to sharing our journeys together x

Hi Jan IVF/FET Buddies,
I will be having my 1st FET in Jan, so my fav frostie also. Have done 1 IVF which resulted in BFN
Just had both tubes removed due to Hydrosalpinx so waiting for a full cycle to start FET.
My infertility friend just got preganant naturally, so am feeling faily lonely atm.
Good luck to everyone

I'm a bit nervous about starting IVF. DH and I are both 28 and have a 4yr old DS (clomid baby) I have PCOS have been TTC for almost 3 years now.
DH has his SA on Thursday and we see the fertility nurse on the 17th to learn how to inject and pick up all the meds
Hoping 2015 is our year girls!!

2015 has to be my year, at 39 it's last chance station and the train is pulling out. 3 frosties = 3 FETs.
Really wanted a sibling so hoping the first one takes!

Hey ladies,
I'd love to join too. Hoping to start ICSI number 6 in Jan 2015, depending on timing (fingers crossed for the first time ever that AF takes her time to arrive before the start of the cycle)
DH and I are hoping 2015 is the year we get to bring a bub into the world. It will be our first cycle at a new clinic, with a new specialist, new issues diagnosed and with a new treatment plan. Hopefully all this 'new' will go our way!
Wishing you all the best for 2015 BFP's!

I shall be so pleased to see the back of 2014 and and look forward to all the hope that 2015 brings fingers crossed it will be the year for us all!!
I had my FET appointment this week and was told I can start FET on my next day 1 as long as the transfer doesn't clash with the Christmas week shut down, but as im due in two weeks I guess I am going to have to skip that one and wait until January
PrinceBsmumma the IVF for me wasn't so bad, the clinic nurses were great and just guided me through it. Is there any part that you are feeling nervous about or just the whole thing?
Freakedout44, wow thats a lot of 'new' good luck
Thanks for starting this thread Sharlie send you lots offor 2015

Thanks for starting this thread @Sharlie! I’d like to come and hang out here too if that’s ok. I will be doing IVF/ICSI cycle number 3 in late Jan/early Feb. We did 2 fresh cycles this year which resulted in a chem and a BFN, so hoping for better luck this time. I just had a second endo surgery a couple of weeks ago, and we’re going to do a super long down reg cycle this time (after doing antagonist cycles previously) to try and get a better response from me. I just did my first sniff of synarel this morning, so I’m nervously awaiting the start of the ragey crazies!!
Wishing everyone a good holiday season, and nothing but good luck and baby dust in the new year.

Hi IVFonly I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing especially EPU I have never had to have any type of anesthetic before so that freaks me out a bit!
That's a shame AF will be at a bad time for you over Christmas break.
AF showed up on Tuesday so I'm on the pill now it seems so weird to be on the pill I haven't been on it for 8 years!
