    Thanks everyone i feel so bad for getting angry with him yesterday. Next time I'm going to try redirect him. He really tested me yesterday!

    Sorry if someone has mentioned this already - but I was thinking maybe he is having bad dreams and doesn't want to go to sleep because of it? Just a thought. I think that age is pretty common for nightmares.

    You could try a nice warm milk drink before bed time. I actually used to give mine a very week tea. Brauers Calm is quite good for anxiety.

    Maybe a dream catcher in his room.

    Also you can buy cheap pop up tents from kmart in the camping section- maybe you could set that up in his room to sleep in for a while until things settle. (just make sure he doesn't get too hot in it)

    Thanks for all the tips. Just to update ds got over that very "naughty stage" he still doesnt listen but I think thats going to go on for the rest of his life lol im glad it was a,phase but he is 3 now so im scared of whats to come!
