@CinderElla88 - also, why are you taking metformin?

(I didn't think you would need it given you have mentioned those types of issues before)

Metformin is for pcos to help with insulin resistance. Do you have pcos cinder?

As @starflame said, it's to help manage insulin resistance. Makes no sense to be taking it if you don't have PCOS - which is why I asked, as @CinderElla88 has never mentioned anything of the like. She seems to have quite regular periods.

I'm sorry Cinder, and I don't want to be a b@tch but, you're not making sense.
And why don't you ask your Dr questions?

    I'm genuinely confused.

I'm not sure if metformin does anything to improve egg quality. It's for diabetes generally and they give it to women with pcos because pcos can cause insulin resistance which can cause the ovaries to make more testosterone, which causes hair growth/acne/irregular periods.

I would be asking your doctor what exactly the metformin is for cinder, just so you have a clear understanding, because if there's no actual reason for you needing to take it then you can avoid the awful side effects it has!
