Default chinese herb during ivf cycle

Hi all, hoping to get some suggestions. Has anyone taken chinese herb during ivf cycle?

I have stopped taking any Chinese herb during stimming. Have epu on Friday and if all goes well, et next Wednesday. My question is would you start again with the herb post epu? My herbalist wants me to start herb again on sat. FS would prefer me not to

    Thank you!

I'd personally listen to your FS. I'm all for TCM, but when you're spending thousands of dollars, I'd listen to the expert. Your herbalist also won't fully understand / know about any potential drug interactions with the IVF meds they have you on.

But of course, it's your decision.

I agree - unfortunately there is not enough information/studies into how ivf drugs and cycles are effected by Chinese herbs. For my cycles, I have always stopped taking them and started again after finding BT.

    All the best!

Hi I took Chinese herbs in the lead up of trying for my 2nd and 3rd child but was also recommended not to continue by my FS when I started stimming. I'm glad I listened although I kept up the acupuncture. Best of luck

Thanks butterfli. I am also continuing with the acupuncture. Fingers crossed I have a transfer next week. My acupuncture told me to have an acupuncture pre and post transfer on the same day. Followed by more acupuncture on day 3, 9, and 12 after transfer. If positive only continue with weekly acupuncture until week 13. Seems like a lot of sessions.
