Default Sexual assault at school *trigger warning*

My friends girl who is 5 was assaulted by a boy in her class.
whilst in the cubicle pulling her pants up a boy pulled them down and licked her bum. He had crawled under the toilet door. Teachers heard her crying hysterically and came running. Obviously the incident has been reported to the police and dcp. The boy is known to dcp already, he is in foster care staying with his grandfather.

The boy is enrolled to go to the catholic school next year where our boys go. I am thinking hospital records won't transfer from school to school or will they due to dcp's envolvment? This sexual behaviour bothers me, I fear for the safety of my children and everyone else's. Surely the school should know about the incident to be alert and monitor this child.

I am thinking of making an appointment with the principal to alert him.

Hospital records? Do you mean school records?

If the department is involved then the school will know about it - also there will be a transition from school to school with all relevant files sent over. I would refrain from getting involved on any level including discussions with other parents.

The school would know what is going. There is obviously a lot going on with this child that you don't know about.
    Mind your own business.

I think the dcp would be more interested in where the child is learning this behaviour. Very sad.

If DCP feel that the school needs to know, they will tell them, not you. How do you know this isn't a one off? Rumours? Gossip? Because DCP sure as hell shouldn't discuss this with anyone other than the relevant stakeholders.

I totally get why you'd be worried, but the school and DCP would have it covered.
